India's one of a kind bridge & not to fuhget Re's favorite place.
This piece of structure took 10 long yrs to get itself standing on its own feet.Much hype was created by da media n da ppl wen it neared its completion."Mumbai's status will now improve" "Time wud be saved n blah-blah-blah".. Media maniacs hovered arnd the site day n nite like thirsty crows jus for any damn news.. ppl got there vehicles ready to roll over this bridgey baby as if this link wud take dem to washington instead of worli,their xcitement was obivious,its was kinda adventure like(jus bcoz of da media hype),for dem it was an enigineering marvel.. but for me (a civil enng.student who does not study actually) its was jus another passage route over a water body consisting of abutments,approaches&piers .. in short .. a bridge.. well its wasnt even that marvellous to hyped about so much.. cuz da tyme dey took make it was enuf to make 2 of it or make it really worthy of being hyped.. but as they say "Sarkari kaam.. jhol ka dusra naam".. it happened.. da day arrived,ribbon was cut off,cars were allowed to drive-thru,Ppl stuck der tongue out like dogs,numbly looking at every piece of structure.. No fuss cuz everybdy enjoyz "Fukkat ka maal".. hahah
dats wen da real deal came in.. jus 3 days after dey announced that charges wud be levied for goin on da bridge,everyone was like 'WTF !!' .. "wasnt it made for the ppl?" .. controversies came thru.da same media who once praised da link now started criticizing it.. but there was more than dey thought there was.. even da BEST buses has 2 pay-up if dey wanted to cross.. haha "Gayi Bhais paani me.. o shuid i say.. Gayi Bus paani me.. hahahha ... lmao!!"
Scam 2.. Cracks were observed at da foundations of the bridge n also on the road floors.. voices got raised again..Media wanted jus dat.. evry1 got themselves wondering that how cud this be, its a newly built bridge.. atleast let it complete a year n den it can fall off if it wants too.. a big crack was observed at a certain abutment near an approach.. doubts got more dense n sum of dem smelled a big jhol in all dis.. dey come out to investigate this n whom do dey catch??.. the designer Sheshadri Srinivasan .. wat does da designer has 2 do wid dat ??.. a designers job is jus 2 design it n rest is carried out by contractors.. y dont u catch dem??.. par yeh india hai mere bhai .. yaha kuch bhi ho sakta hai... nwayz..
Scam 3.. Evrything seemed back to normal as Scam 2 went out cold.. along wid the construction company HCC & the Maharashta State Road Development Corp.(MSRDC).. both adjusted each other n aal Izz Well.. but it wasnt well 4 long.. Jhol jyada chupta nahi mere dost.. Traffic Accumalation was increasing coz of the 'bottle-neck' entrance of the bridge.. Accident frequencies started rising again.. why ??.. coz the speed limit wasnt proper.. thank god dat they dint allow to use all the lanes .. den we wud had to call it "Bandra-Worli Death Link" .. haha.. sick joke :P..
this was the time dey shud have got hold of da designer .. but wher was the designer??.. as alwys no wer 2 be found.. n ask the Cm & da construction firm abt it.. dey'll say dey r workin on it ??

Controversies are part of life though.. but dey shud be dealt with to avoid trouble in the future.. but wat do we do .. we get onto fighting with each other over the subject dat whom shud be the bridge named after.. cool !!... after 2-3 years .. da bridge itself wud fall off to pieces.. n then dis matter wud be solved.. cuz dey'll have 4-5 pieces of the bridge n dey can name it wateva they want.. hell if i was dem i wud have named the Bridge afetr Re,Rajnikant,Mohanlal,Himes Bhai.. any damn geek.. wat gives ??.. we jus wanted a better route fo transportation .. dats all.. but i dont think we'll get it atleast in dis janam.. o till i bcome a Successful Civil Engg.
